2,600 Local Kids Enjoy 2nd Annual School House Jam
Students of all ages from the Albuquerque area enjoyed a hard fought Thunderbird victory Tuesday afternoon. The 2,600 screaming kids cheered the Thunderbirds to a 93-87 victory over Bakersfield at the 2nd annual School House Jam.

The game was a special treat for students as they received a free educational workbook from Newspapers in Education (which included exercise tips, math games, word searches, etc...) and were entertained with a halftime game between mascots from around the city. A representative from M.A.D.D. talked to the children about the dangers of underage drinking at the conclusion of the mascot game.
