GREENVILLE, S.C., December 15 – The Albuquerque Thunderbirds have re-acquired guard Cody Toppert from the NBA Development League available player pool and waived forward Alvin Broussard.

Toppert was allocated to Albuquerque prior to the start of the season, but was waived during training camp. The Albuquerque native played collegiately at Cornell, where he finished his career as the school’s all-time leader in career games played (108) and three-point field goals made (237).

Broussard played in seven games for the Thunderbirds, averaging 11.4 minutes, 4.4 points and 2.3 rebounds.

Toppert is expected to be in uniform when the T-Birds host Tulsa Friday. He will wear jersey No. 33.
