Jam Trade Longar for Bell

BAKERSFIELD, November 3, 2010 — The Bakersfield Jam has completed a trade that will send center Longar Longar to the Utah Flash for their 40th overall draft pick in the 2010 NBA Development League Draft, D’Andre Bell. D’Andre Bell, a shooting guard out of Georgia Tech, participated in the 2010 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, playing for the Miami Heat. As a senior in 2009-10, he averaged 6.6 points per contest, shot 41.7 percent from three-point range and 75.8 percent from the line.

Longar averaged 6.0 points and 5.5 rebounds last season in the D-League and participated in Oklahoma City Thunder’s veteran camp this past month. This 6-11 center has also previously played professionally in Turkey.
