Milestone for Kobe in Defeat

Kobe Bryant poured in 28 points to pass Shaquille O' Neal (28,596 points) for fifth place on the NBA's all-time scoring list as the Lakers fell to the 76ers 95-90 in Philadelphia on Monday night. Head Coach Mike Brown Suspended

Lakers head coach Mike Brown has been suspended one game without pay and fined $25,000 for making contact with a game official and failure to leave the court in a timely manner following his ejection. Camp Lakers 2012

We are excited to announce that our 13th annual summer basketball camp held at the beautiful campus of Roybal Learning Center in downtown Los Angeles. Bryant & Bynum Named Starters

Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum have been named Western Conference All-Star starters at guard and center respectively. This is Bryant's 14th time starting the league's annual showcase game. For Bynum it's the first time he's received the All-Star nod.

Lakers Fall to Jazz

Lakers Announce Spanish TV Team

The Lakers have hired Adrian Garcia Marquez (play-by-play) and Francisco Pinto (television analyst) as the team’s Spanish TV announcers for the upcoming 2012-13 season. Time Warner Cable will launch a Spanish-language regional sports network. Garcia Marquez and Pinto will serve as the team’s Spanish TV announcers for the new network. PRESS RELEASE

Kobe Named Olympic Finalist

Kobe Bryant has been named as one of the 20 finalists for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Men’s basketball team, a roster which includes eight 2008 Olympic gold medalists and 10 members of the 2010 USA World Championship gold medal winning team.
